To RTPnet TACT list:

I'm forwarding the message below about CTCnet's C4All program and the
upcoming Accessibility Institutes for Stephen Quinn <squinn at ctcnet.org>.
He says, "The closest Institutes to NC are in Baltimore and
Nashville, so please note that there are small stipends available to
help offset travel costs."

Subject: Connections for All: Training & Grant Opportunity from CTCNet

CTCNet's new Connections for All (C4All) program aims to enhance the
capacity of community technology centers to serve people with physical
and/or learning disabilities, and in the process, become better able to meet
the needs of everyone they serve.

The program offers training and funding opportunities, and is designed for
community-based organizations that provide training on computers and
technology as a component of their afterschool, career training or other
programs. Through the C4All program, we are hosting 10 Accessibility
Institutes around the country. The Institute is a valuable way to learn how
to assess, plan for, and implement strategies to make your programs more
accessible. Organizations that attend an Institute will be eligible to apply
for a $20,000 Accessibility Grant in the Spring.

There are five Institutes left, and modest stipends are available (email
Jenn Raley Miller at jrmiller at ctcnet.org for details):

*	Los Angeles, CA - January 9-10, 2007 - CD Tech / Los Angeles Trade
Technical College
*	Baltimore, MD - January 16, 2007 - Center for Community Technology
Services at University of Baltimore
*	Oakland, CA - January 18-19, 2007 - Eastmont Computing Center
*	Nashville, TN - January 23, 2007 - Technology Access Center
*	Boston, MA - January 30, 2007 - Museum of Science
