<font face="Bookman Old Style, Bookman">RTPnet wants to help the
nonprofit sector be effective in using information technology resources.
We have been hosting web pages and providing related services. <br><br>
Now we want to see if we can make your use of computers and the Internet
easier and more effective and help you promote your organizations and
achieve its goals by offering some classes on various topics. Each class
would last for one session of 2 to 3 hours; have handouts, and probably
supporting web pages for access after the class. These classes will not
be designed for hands-on classroom experience.<br><br>
Enrollment will be limited to seating capacity and for effective
teaching, so advance registrations will be expected. We hope to launch
some of these classes early in 2004, but first we want you’re your
feedback on what topics interest you.<br><br>
In order to provide handouts, light refreshments, and help balance the
RTPnet budget we are going to offer these classes for a fee that may
range from $20 to $45. We may obtain subsidies for some classes and if we
do we will rebate registration fees to the extent of such subsidies. And
we will offer a discount for one or more registrants from organizations
for which we host web sites.<br><br>
