Dear NC ECHO partners and SNCA list members,
Spaces are still available in the NC ECHO Introduction to Encoded Archival
Description (EAD) Workshop Monday and Tuesday, March 8-9, 2004, at SILS,
UNC-Chapel Hill. This workshop has been planned to coincide with the SNCA
Spring Conference, planned also at UNC-CH later in that same week March
11-12, 2004.
Please see the NC ECHO website for details of the EAD workshop and for
registration forms - http://www.ncecho.org/#ead. It's a bargain at $25. If
you would like suggestions for affordable accommodations near Chapel Hill
(yes, there really are some inexpensive options) or if you have any other
question about the workshop, please contact me.
Don't be afraid of XML and EAD. If I can learn it, believe me, you can,
too, and the rewards for exploring these tools are many and far-reaching.
Sincerely,
Kim Andersen Cumber
