NC ECHO Introduction to Metadata Workshop, Iredell County Public

NC ECHO is having an Introduction to Metadata Workshop at the Iredell County
Public Library, 135 East Water Street, Statesville, NC 28677! Registration
is only $10.00 and is open to anyone with an interest in learning about
metadata!
This 1-day workshop explores the underlying principles of metadata,
including a review of different types of metadata, an introduction to
various metadata schemes, and an in-depth look at the NCDC Dublin Core
Implementation Guidelines as a minimum standard for NC ECHO. The NC ECHO
Dublin Core template as well as other resources available for metadata
creation provided by NC ECHO will be discussed.
