While I don't have the time to do much consulting or contract work these days, I have done this in the past.  Let me tell you - there is work out there!  I still get regular requests, but like Jeff, I really don't know who to refer folks to.  Would SNCA be willing to maintain a list of consultants on the website?  It would be a huge resource for both archivists and institutions in the state.  I'd be willing to pull the info together.
