I would like to caution people not to jump the gun. There has only been
a mention of the possibility of the State Library being closed. There
are no definites, and after years of working in state government, if you
push things too far too fast, you may actually achieve the opposite
effect by getting people angry. At this time, it is important for us to
learn as much as we can about the ACTUAL facts and plans and then move
ahead. I will be meeting with our Government Liaison on Monday to find
out what she knows and where we should be heading from there. The last
thing we want is to cause more problems if this is just a trial balloon,
etc.
