Colleagues,

This is a call for submissions for the Gene Williams award.  The award is designed to recognize excellence in the field of archives by a graduate student.  Please see our webpage for submission forms and more information pertaining to the award.  http://www.ncarchivists.org/awards/williams.html

Please note that we are accepting submissions from papers completed in the Fall 2008, Spring 2009, Summer 2009, and Fall 2009.  If you completed a paper as a graduate student in one of those semesters please consider entering it in the award contest.

Please share this information with pertinent departments at your institution.

Deadline for submission will be December 21, 2009.

Please encourage your students and friends to enter the award contest.  Note that in addition to a monetary reward the paper is also published in our journal - J-SNCA.  Think CV.
