The American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) is again offering its Basics of Archives course (see below). This may be useful for those brand new to the field and a possibility for newly employed or part-time staff or volunteers.

The Basics of Archives online course is designed to give organizations and individuals who are responsible for the care of historical records an introduction to the core aspects of managing and protecting historical records collections, using appropriate principles and best practices.
Time/Duration: 15-20 hours to be completed anytime during the above dates
Cost: $85 members/$155 nonmembers
