REGISTER now for "From Theory to Practice: Accessing and Preserving Electronic Records and Digital Materials," a conference examining the challenges involved with electronic record creation, preservation, and access.  The conference will be held November 3-4 at the McKimmon Conference Center in Raleigh.
The two-day conference features national speakers including Doug Robinson, Executive Director of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers, David Ferriero Archivist of the United States, and Frayda Bluestein Professor of Public Law and Government at the UNC School of Government. The conference includes separate tracks for both government agencies and cultural repositories that create and manage records and digital collections.  Anyone who works with electronic records and digital media is encouraged to attend this conference.
