Hello All,

Below are two meeting announcements from our sister organizations in Burlington and Charlotte.  Those who are contemplating building an EV should read both announcements.

>From Ken Clayton wrt TEVA in Burlington:

We
will be meeting this Saturday 7/12 at 9:00am at TS Designs.  Ken will
have his truck available and we will have a special guest from Raleigh.
 
This meeting will describe how to hypermile and start the basics of electric vehicle design.

Hello
everyone, this months meetng will be on the 19, so that Mike and Paula,
can attend, they are having two workshops this month on converting a
gas car to electric DC.One this weekend and the other at the end of the
month Anyone that is interested learning about this should attend. I
attended the first workshop this year and it was well worth it.
Everyone should join the Electric Auto  Association, you will get a
news letter , which will keep you informed of what is going on with
electric cars all over the world, things that you don't hear about in
the regular news. If the big auto company's don't build electric cars,
the people will. Tell the big auto company's that you will buy a new
car or truck when it is electric. The way its going even if a electric
car is more expensive to buy the money you don't spend on gas could be
used to make your payments. It does not look like there is going to be
any change in the price of gas, but up The meeting will be at Charlotte
Energy Solutions, 337 Baldwin Avenue, Charlotte, NC. Please come and
bring a friend, it takes people to make a good meeting.Thank you and
