Hello fellow dreamers!

Its time to wake up and smell the lithium.

Though the use of lithuium batteries is still contested and questionable,
both because of cost and other concerns, we have the opportunity to leave
the realm of idle debate and examine a vehicle that is employing lithium as
a daily driver.

A local Geo Metro EV owner converted his car to lithium for a cost of $11
Gs for batteries a couple of years ago. He has a greed to share what he has
experienced and bring the car in question for our examination.

A couple of details about his accomplishment are:

The motor is an Advanced FB1 4001. The car is a 1996 Geo Metro. I have 48
cells@ 200AH. It took 4-5 Saturdays to install the Batteries. I have about
12000 miles on them.

The owner will be presenting his car and experience at the next
meeting. *Remember
to bring a chair* if you want to sit down and bring any questions that you
may have regarding this vehicle. Directions to PA Smith are on the website.

That is June 16th at PA Smith, at 10:15 AM.

See you there.
