Hi TRTC Team,
The weekend is looking great, so we've scheduled a dumpster to remove as
much of the structure at the future Fayetteville Road parking area for
this Saturday, September 25, starting at 9 am.
Even if we aren't able to get the structure down completely, there
should be plenty to do. There is a lot of trash to move from the
outbuildings as well as in the front of the house. We'll try to hold on
to the cement block, bricks, and any wood we can reuse/recycle.
Come on out and help if you can. If you can't make it at 9, come on out
later! We may be doing some work on Sunday as well.
Don't forget to bring your work gloves, long pants and preferably long
sleeved shirts. Make sure that your tetanus shot is up-to-date as there
are a lot of nails. Bring water and a snack if you like.
If you have it, please bring a wheelbarrow or wheeled cart. We can also
use long handled sledge axes and/or sledges. You might want to bring a
bucket to carry home anything that might be of use to you.
Park alongside Fayetteville Road or along the wide part of the bridge.
If we have a lot of vehicles, we may have some park down in Chancellors
Ridge.
Please let me know if you have any questions and comments.
Happy Trails,
Bill Bussey
