Hi Volunteers for the American Tobacco Trail,

This is a reminder of the American Tobacco Trail workday this Saturday,
April 9. We'll be meeting at the New Hope Church Road Trailhead
<http://www.triangletrails.org/DIRECTIONS.HTM> at 9 AM.

*Saturday, April 9 at 9 AM* is our Chatham ATT Workday at New Hope
Church Road Trailhead <http://www.triangletrails.org/DIRECTIONS.HTM>.

We'll actually meet there and then drive to another location off of
Earnest Jones Road to do some trail clearing. If you enjoy trail
clearing starting from a fairly rugged corridor, then this will be the
workday for you! We hope this will be the start of a series of workdays
in this area which will allow us to open more trail.

We need folks who can bring and safely operate chain saws. If you have a
chainsaw, and you enjoy using it, please bring it. If you don't have
that, bring your hand saw. If you don't have that, bring yourself and
your work gloves because we can use you to haul brush and cut logs off
or down the trail. If you don't want to haul or drag, we can use you in
other ways. There is plenty to do.

Please bring your pickup truck if you have one because we may have some
trash and junk to remove. If not, we'll save it for another day.

Bring work gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather, water and a
snack if you like.

We'll probably work till about noon or so. Please let Curt Devereux
<mailto:devereux at gte.net> 919 544-3948 or me <mailto:billbus at gte.net>
919 545-9104 know if you have any questions.
