> Hi Volunteers for the American Tobacco Trail,
>
> This is a reminder of the American Tobacco Trail workday this
> Saturday, which is tomorrow! We'll be meeting at the Scott King Road
> Trailhead <http://www.triangletrails.org/DIRECTIONS.HTM> at 9 AM.
>
> *Saturday, July 2 at 9 AM* is our Durham County ATT Workday at Scott
> King Road Trailhead <http://www.triangletrails.org/DIRECTIONS.HTM>.
>
> Frank Bennett <mailto:fjb675 at hotmail.com> will lead the group trimming
> trees, bushes and brush near and around the Northeast Creek trestle
> south of Scott King Road. This will improve the view of folks who hike
> or ride down the trail to the currently undecked trestle. The group
> will also be doing some trimming along the trail itself.

Feel free to bring a hand saw, loppers or the like if you have them. If
you are in town this weekend, and are looking to get to know the ATT
south of Massey Chapel Road, please join us. Frank is a wealth of
knowledge on the American Tobacco Trail and TRTC's work on it.

> Depending on the number of volunteers and the weather conditions, the
> group may also fill some holes and ruts south and perhaps of Scott
> KIng Road with some gravel which was donated by Wake Stone.
>
> We'll have shovels, rakes and other tools needed. Bring work gloves,
> clothing appropriate for the weather, water and a snack if you like.
> We can use a pickup or fairly high clearance vehicle, to roll over the
> applied gravel. If you have one and don't mind driving it down the
> trail, please bring it.
>
> We'll probably work till about noon or so. Please let Frank Bennett
> <mailto:FJB675 at hotmail.com> 919-851-3992 or me
> <mailto:billbus at gte.net> 919 545-9104 know if you have any questions.
