Hi Volunteers for the American Tobacco Trail,

This is to remind you of our American Tobacco Trail workday, *Saturday,
November 19*, on the American Tobacco Trail at the Fayetteville Road
Trailhead <http://www.triangletrails.org/DIRECTIONS.HTM> at 9 a.m.

If it is raining badly or all over the area, or the forecast is for
such, we'll cancel this workday. Feel free to call Bill Bussey at 919
545-9104 or Frank Bennett at 919 851-3992 as late as 8 a.m. to verify a
go or no go. Else use your best judgment.

Please join us, Saturday, November 12 at 9 a.m. at the Fayetteville Road
trailhead <http://www.triangletrails.org/DIRECTIONS.HTM> in Durham
County. We'll be clearing and moving brush around this trailhead which
is currently under construction by TRTC. We'll also be joined by chain
sawyers Steve Lund and Ken Pugh who will cut some pine trees near our
driveway leading into the parking area. One of our principal jobs will
be to clean up after they fell these trees.

We'll also be joined by staff from Bronto Software <http://bronto.com/>.
Bronto helped us out on a very hot and humid August morning. We hope it
will be a bit cooler for them this weekend.

If you have a hand saw and/or chainsaw, and feel comfortable using them,
please bring them along. This would be a good workday for chainsaws!
Loppers are also needed.

Bring work gloves, full shoes or boots, clothing appropriate for the
weather, water and a snack if you like.* **Please wear long pants
*because we will get into some brush.

We'll probably work till about noon or so. If it is raining badly or all
over the area, or the forecast is for such, we'll cancel this workday.
Feel free to call Bill Bussey at 919 545-9104, as late as 8 a.m., to
verify a go or no go. However, if you aren't comfortable with the
forecast, use your best judgment and join us or not as you prefer.
Please let Frank Bennett <mailto:FJB675 at hotmail.com> 919-851-3992 or
Bill Bussey <mailto:billbus at gte.net> 919 545-9104 know if you have any
questions.
