Directions to Camps Durant and Reeves - Updated 10/09/2012
Webelos Woods - Troop and Pack 200 will be at Camp Reeves.

Summary:
US 1 South to US 15 South,
Turn Right on US 15
US 15 to NC 24/27 West
NC 24/27 to SR 1261,
Turn Left on SR 1261, 8 miles
Camps on left

Detail:
From Cary, access U.S. 1 South from the point most convenient.

Continue South through Apex and the Sanford area (approx 40-50 minutes). 
Once you have gone through Sanford & Tramway, bear right onto Hwy 15 
(Carthage).  Continue on Hwy. 15 toward Carthage.

As you approach Carthage, Hwy. 15 will turn to the left, but you should 
continue straight, now on Hwy. 24/27, directly into Carthage.  
Landmark: There is a Hardee's restaurant at this intersection of 15 and
24/27.  You should pass Hardee's on your left. 
 
In downtown Carthage, you will enter a traffic circle, go around the 
traffic circle and continue on Hwy. 22/24/27. Approximately 1.4 miles,
look for green sign, "Occoneechee Scout Camps 8 Mi.", after the traffic 
circle at a "Y" intersection, turn LEFT onto SR 1261- which is also 
Bethlehem Church Rd.

Continue almost 7 miles straight ahead (there are stop signs) on Bethlehem 
Church Rd.  and it will take you to first to Camp Durant, on left, followed 
by Camp Reeves a mile or so further (also on left) The entrances to both 
camps are marked.

Follow the signs appropriate for the event you are attending.  Both
camps have two entrances and depending on the weather and/or event, the
entrances may be setup to be "1 way".  Always look for the appropriate 
signs and the entrances for information as to which entrance to take and
which direction to drive.
