The Calvary Baptist Church Mission Statement
|
The
mission of Calvary Baptist Church, as a body of redeemed believers, is:
 |
To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people through the
power of the Holy Spirit; |
|
To Support the work of missions in our church, our country, and
the world; |
|
To Worship Jesus Christ through the Word, prayer, music, and stewardship
so all people might be drawn closer to God and to each other through His
love; |
|
To teach and disciple our people as Jesus taught His disciples; |
|
To strengthen our own lives and to reach the lost for Christ through
Bible study and prayer; |
|
To minister to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of our
community and our church family in the name of Jesus Christ; |
|
To Unite out hearts in fellowship with other Christians as well
as with the lost, that we might be strengthened and that they might be
saved. |
Following the commandment of Jesus that we love one another as
He loved us, and under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves
to fulfill this mission.
