Welcome to RTPnet
RTPnet is a volunteer-driven membership-based service of Public Information Network, Inc. dedicated to helping North Carolina nonprofit organizations leverage Internet tools to promote and support their missions.

Our special focus is North Carolina and its Research Triangle but we will serve eligible users anywhere.

Public Information Network, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation incorporated in August 1990, doing business as RTPnet, and previously known as Triangle Free-Net.

...if we focus our efforts to empower the organizations and institutions that make up the community infrastructure serving our low-income areas, we can close gaps not simply in access to technology, but in access to opportunity itself.
